Meet Ilakiya (“Ila”)

I hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability), CHC33021, completed in 2026 with the Australian College of Community Services and Care (RTO 45361), and I have more than two years of hands-on experience supporting people with disability. I'm passionate about it, and I love seeing the small wins that make big differences to someone's life.

I'm an independent worker, so you deal with me directly. The person you meet at the meet & greet is the person who turns up, every time.

I believe good support starts with listening. You're the expert on your own life, and my job is to help you live it the way you choose.

How it works

  1. Get in touch

Send the short enquiry form or call me. It takes about two minutes.

  2. Free meet & greet

We chat about your goals and preferences, with no pressure and no cost.

  3. Service agreement

We agree on supports, times and rates in writing before anything starts.

  4. Support begins

NDIS & fees, explained simply

I'm an unregistered NDIS provider. I work with participants whose funding is self-managed or plan-managed, and with private clients.

  • Self-managed: you pay invoices from your plan funds and keep full flexibility.
  • Plan-managed: your plan manager pays my invoices for you. No admin on your side.
  • NDIA-managed: the NDIA only pays registered providers, so I can't work with you under this option. If you'd like to, ask the NDIA or your Support Coordinator about moving to plan management. Many people find it easy.

My rates are within the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits. Ask for a clear quote. Everything is agreed in writing first.

Frequently asked questions

Are you a registered NDIS provider?

No. I'm an unregistered NDIS provider, which means I support participants who self-manage their funding or have a plan manager, as well as private clients. I hold an NDIS Worker Screening Check and the NDIS Worker Orientation Module, and I carry public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

Can I use your services if my plan is NDIA-managed?

NDIA-managed (agency-managed) participants can only use registered providers. If you'd like to work with me, you can ask the NDIA or your Support Coordinator about moving to plan-managed or self-managed funding. A plan manager handles the invoices for you, so it needn't add paperwork to your week.

What happens at the free meet & greet?

We have a relaxed chat, in person or by phone, about what matters to you, the support you're looking for and how you like things done. There's no obligation and no cost. If we both feel it's a good fit, we agree on a service agreement before any support starts.

How much do you charge?

My rates sit within the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits. Send an enquiry or give me a call and I'll give you a clear quote. Everything is written into your service agreement before we begin, so there are no surprises.

Can you drive me to appointments and outings?

Yes. I can drive you to appointments, shopping and community activities in my own car (a sedan or hatchback, so it suits people who can comfortably get in and out of a standard car; please ask if you're unsure). How transport is charged is agreed in your service agreement beforehand.

Do you support older people who aren't on the NDIS?

Yes. I provide companionship and help at home for older Australians on a private basis, including personal care, meals, light housework and getting out and about.

Which areas do you cover?

I'm based in Ferntree Gully and support clients across Melbourne's outer east, including Boronia, Bayswater, The Basin, Knoxfield and surrounding suburbs. If your suburb isn't listed, send an enquiry and ask.

Do I need to give you my NDIS number or medical details?

No. The enquiry form never asks for your NDIS number or any medical information. We only talk about what's needed when we've met and you're comfortable sharing.
