Ilakiya Aged Care & Disability Support Work ("I", "me") respects your privacy. This policy explains how I handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What I collect

When you use the enquiry form I collect the details you choose to give me: who the support is for, how it's funded, the supports you're interested in, your suburb, preferred days and hours, your name, phone number, email address, preferred contact method and any message you write. The form never asks for your NDIS number or medical information, so please don't include them.

If you phone or email me, I collect whatever you tell me in that conversation.

Why I collect it

Only to reply to your enquiry, arrange a meet & greet and, if we work together, to provide and invoice supports. I don't sell your information or use it for third-party advertising.

Who handles it

Web3Forms (web3forms.com) processes form submissions and emails them to me. Your details pass through their servers, which may be located outside Australia.
Cloudflare hosts this website and may log technical data such as IP address and browser type. If enabled, Cloudflare Web Analytics gives me anonymous, cookie-free visit statistics.
Google Analytics, if enabled on this site, records anonymous usage such as pages viewed and button clicks.
My email provider stores the emails I receive.

I only share personal information otherwise with your consent or where the law requires it.

Cookies and local storage

This site stores your "Larger text" choice in your browser's local storage, only on your device. Analytics tools, if enabled, may use cookies or similar technology.

Keeping it safe

I take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. I keep it only as long as I need it for the purposes above, then delete or de-identify it.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the information I hold about you, or ask me to delete it, by contacting me at ilakiyacares@gmail.com or on 0404 594 102. If you have a concern I'll try to resolve it promptly. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
